XpressHR E-Verify
Failure to verify employment eligibility and properly complete and retain I-9 Forms will subject an employer and its officers, managers and key employees to possible criminal charges as well as significant financial penalties.
As one of the first Designated Agents of the Department of Homeland Security’s E-Verify Program (formerly Basic Pilot), XpressHR’s E-Verify module performs real-time employment verifications to insure that a company’s new hires are eligible for employment in the United States.
To complete the I-9 Verification process, the new hire’s data is checked against both the Department of Homeland Security and the Social Security Agency’s employment databases. Upon completion of the verification an eligibility statement is automatically captured by
XpressHR, which then guides the employer through the approval or tentative non-confirmation step to close out the verification process.
XpressHR efficiently manages the entire verification process; from employment authorized through the final confirmation. In addition, XpressHR auto generates required notifications to the corporate representative (hiring manager or HR professional) informing them of the new hire’s verification status. Completed forms are encrypted and stored in DocumentCenterTM, which is certified and conforms to the guidelines established by the U.S Citizenship and Immigration Service.
